In Loving Memory ~
Jim was born in Duncan and spent his early years in Victoria. His family then moved to Caycuse. He met the love of his life "Lynn" there and raised their family in Camp 6. From there, the family moved to Courtenay and they remained in the Valley.
Jim worked in the logging industry most of his life. Later moved on to work as a barge loader.
Jim and Lynn both were caretakers at Kitty Coleman campground for many years, and gained a second family there. Jim was born with "no filters" a real character. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family. They had property on Salt Spring Island for many years, and camped in their Hippy Trailer.
Anyone who knew Jim realized he was a practical joker. He most valued his time with family and friends. His time was cut short as he still had a half rack of wine!
The family is very thankful for the support received from everyone and would like to acknowledge the kindness given by the ICU staff and Dr. Murphy at the Comox Valley Hospital.
