Lila was born November 20,1932 in Lawson, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on February 2, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, BC.

Lila moved to the Comox Valley with Ray in 1961. They worked side by side and many long hours to build a successful business, Bennett Sheet Metal & Heating Ltd.

She suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis for the past 27 years yet always managed to have a positive outlook about everything in her life, she would always say “It’ll all work out”.

We would like to thank Dr. Reggler for his compassion and understanding. We would also like to thank the home care nurses as well as 2nd & 3rd floor nursing staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Thank you to all of her family and friends for their devotion and support.

She will be greatly missed especially by her 3 daughters. We love you Mama!

To celebrate her life an open house will be held on February 10th, 2007 from 1-4pm at 4602 Sunwood Place, Courtenay, BC.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lila’s memory may be made to the St. Joseph’s General Hospital Foundation.
