Linda Emily Gerow (nee Morgan)

Linda was born in Leoville, Sask. on October 3, 1950. Her family moved to BC shortly after her birth. She was brought up in the Fraser Valley. Linda attended Mennonite Educational Institute graduating in 1969. She went on to attend UBC nursing school. Her career saw her work in ICU OR Post op at VGH, St Paul's Burnaby, St Josephs (Comox) Campbell River and Cumberland hospitals for more than 30 years.
Linda had passion for genealogy her research confirmed ancestry in North America as far back as 1638. She had a deep knowledge and love of flowers and enjoyed her many gardens.
Linda passed away peacefully in Naniamo hospital surrounded by her partner of thirty years Dick Walton Campbell River/Parksville his daughter Dawn and partner Darlene Rowe.
She is survived by her sister Nora Land, Port Alberni cousin June Morgan, nieces Christine Morgan, Mission, BC, Sherri Morgan, Smithers BC and many loving nephews and grandchildren Griffin Walton and Ella Rowe.
Many heartfelt thanks to the medical staff and in particular the Palliative care unit of Naniamo Hospital. We will lover her forever.
