In Loving Memory ~
We, her family, are saddened to share the passing of Lisa Mae Gordon on February 6, 2022 at 92 years of age.
Lisa was born on July 6, 1929 and raised in Vancouver, B.C. She spent her childhood summers on the sunshine coast where she developed her love for the ocean. She eventually moved her and her children to the Sunshine Coast in the early 60's and then onto the Okanagan area but she moved back to the coast in her retirement years.
She loved her family dearly. She always had a treasured pet, mostly of the feline persuasion by her side. She enjoyed singing to show tunes, making crafts, and reading and was often heard whistling a favourite tune.
Lisa grew the most beautiful and lush gardens of anyone we knew as she loved nature most of all. In her later years she enjoyed strolling through Stanley Park and the beaches and forests of the Comox Valley... always yearning for a log cabin on the beach.
Lisa was predeceased by her sons, Russell in 1956, Ethan in 2000 and Blair in 2016.
She is survived by sons, Nels Holm, Logan Holm (Trish), Ken McArthur (Lona) and daughter Lisa Holm; Grandchildren, Dean, Ehran, Sydney, Tess, Maxx (Nikki), Rob (Madelaine)and Kyla (Markus); Great-grandchildren, Lumen, Joclynn, Kaiden, Riley, Levi, Shayla and Brendan.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of Cumberland Lodge for their compassionate care of our beloved Lisa over the past 5 years.
A private Celebration of Life and tree planting in her honour will be held this summer.
Donations to the BCSPCA, Cumberland Lodge, Canadian Mental Health Association or a Charity of your choice in Lisa's memory would be greatly appreciated.
'May the longtime sun shine 'pon you
All love surround you
And the pure light within you
Guide your way'

Go well Lisa.
