Lloyd passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Florence, of 56 years; his son Larry (Janet); daughter Lesley (Larry); four grandchildren: Shaun, Cherie, Becki, Brian; great granddaughter Kaia; brothers: Bruce and Kenneth; sisters: Marion and Betty; and many other caring family members and friends. Lloyd was a veteran of World War II, and was a long time Comox Valley resident and businessman. Lloyd will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the CHAPEL OF PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME, 440 ENGLAND AVE., COURTENAY on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM.
