In Loving Memory Of Lona Erna Brisch ~ The family of Lona Erna Brisch are very sad to announce her passing on Friday, March 12th at the age of 91.
Lona is survived by her beloved daughters Erika and Vera and her son Bernie (Sharon). Also left to mourn are many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her loving husband Bernie Brisch Sr., her daughter Ilona Duerden and her grandson Larry Winter.
Born in Brunswick, Germany January 9th, 1930, she immigrated to Yellowknife NWT on December 1955, then moved to the Comox Valley in 1966.
Lona was funny, feisty, caring, loving Mother and Oma. If you were in trouble she would threaten to knock you out or hang you from a hook, which she never did of course.
Lona was very proud of her family. We are all so thankful for the time we had with her and can never express how much we loved her and will miss her.
