Dad passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox. Dad put up a brave battle against lung disease and is now at rest. Dad lived a good part of his life in Comox and was very much a part of the community. Dad was on this earth for a good time. He was called “Maurice Chevalier”, loved to entertain his friends by singing and playing piano and he was quite the Fred Astaire on the dance floor. Cards were a big part of his life, playing “Bridge” was his game and he was very good at it. He loved to travel and his greatest pleasure came from spending time with his family. Dad is survived by his devoted daughters France and Francine, granddaughter Trésor and his sister Antoinette. A Celebration of his Life will be held privately among his family and closest friends.
