Lori Joanne Freeman (Lori Jo) of Okotoks, Alberta, beloved partner of Terry Craik, was fatally injured alongside Terry in a motorcycle accident on August 17, 2017.

Born in Hamiota, Manitoba on July 17, 1969, Lori Jo is the daughter of Sandra (nee Melvin) and Bob Freeman, and is survived by her mother Sandra, brother Jeff, and her two children Patrick and Kevin, from her earlier marriage to Pascal Hinni.

Lori Jo graduated from John G. Diefenbaker High School in 1987, and in 1993 earned a B.A. from the University of Calgary. Lori Jo was a surface land administrator with twenty years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Lori Jo loved hosting friends and family at her home (usually with delicious home made cookies), traveling, listening to music from all eras and genres, dancing up a storm, camping, and skiing with her boys. Lori Jo’s recent bliss was found in riding her Harley (nicknamed “Vi”) with Terry.

Generous, loyal, adventurous, and hilarious, Lori Jo will be missed deeply by everyone whose life she touched.

A celebration of Lori Jo’s and Terry’s lives will be held at the Red Deer Lake Community Center Hall (178136-112 Street, Calgary) on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
