Lorne passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at Glacier View Lodge, Comox Valley, BC. He was predeceased by his wife Madeline Martha Blythe nee Fry and daughter Joan Elizabeth Vallor nee Blythe. Lorne is survived by and missed by daughter Anne Marie Baker nee Blythe (Geoff), son David Lorne Blythe (Linda), grandchildren Holly, Noah, Logan, Andrea, Ryan, Nigel, Rylan, great grandchildren Shelby, Paige, Rylan, Kash, Kendra and great grandchildren Sawyer and Kennedy.
Lorne served in the Air Force from 1944 to 1980. He enjoyed travelling to various parts of the world and eventually retired in the Comox Valley.
The family would like to say a big thank you to the staff at Glacier View Lodge who cared for him in such a loving way.
