With great sadness, we announce after a long a courageous battle with cancer, Lorraine passed away peacefuly while in Hospice Care.
She was predeceased by husband Dennis Grauman and 2nd husband Ron McClure, her mother and father, brother Laurier, sister Germaine and nephew Ken, brothers-in-law Ward and Ted.
Left to remember her are her children Tammy, Robin (Brad), Trace and Lisa. Her sister Sylvia, brother Oliver (Kathy), many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and one great grand daughter.
Lorraine was born in Edmonton, Alta, but lived most of her life on Vancouver Island. She was a loving mother and a hard worker, when she was able to, she loved to garden, later became an avid reader.
Through her resiliency, resourcefulness and determination she survived many of the difficulties that life presented to her.
Thank you to the nurses of Hospice for the compassionate care of Lorraine and special thanks to friend Alice.
As per Lorraines wishes there will be no service.
A private gathering was held with family and friends.
