A resident of the Extended Care Unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2nd, 2007 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his wife Rose in 1997, he is survived by his sons Jack (Faye) of Winnipeg, Fred (Janice) of Qualicum Beach and Dave (Marion) of Comox; grandchildren: Jacelyn, Andrea, Kristen, Stacey, Jamie, Christopher, Jake and Caitlin; great-grandchildren Alandra and Kalab; his brothers and sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Louis will be remembered for his wonderful singing voice. He shared his love of music whenever he could and performed for many years, entertaining troops during the war, at seniors’ homes, hospitals, children’s organizations, and telethons. A Service of Remembrance in celebration of Louis’s life took place on Tuesday, February 6th at 2:00pm from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD.
