1918 ~ 2005
Louisa was born in London, England on October 15, 1918 and passed away February 2nd, 2005 at Glacier View Lodge. Louisa lived in Kent, South England for many years, married Victor Crisp, her childhood sweetheart in 1938. She was called to do war work and also air raid warden duties at night during the war. They emigrated to Canada in the mid 1950’s and she worked as a licensed practical nurse for many years. Louisa led a very happy life until she lost her husband Vic to cancer in 1980. Despite her sorrow, she never lost her love of the wonder of God’s hand all around in the beautiful countryside, music, laughter, friends, dogs and quiet moments. A Memorial Service was held on Monday, February 7th, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Koleba officiating. in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Central Free Evangelical Church Building Fund.
