It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lucas William Eriksen on Thursday, November 25, 2010. He will be sadly missed by his mommy, Diana Facey; step dad Wilford Facey; dad Danny Eriksen; son Kohen Eriksen and his mom Michelle Benisch; sisters Shannon, Jennifer and Karryn; grandparents Ron & Margie, Marcelle & Dorothy and Arnold & Grace; nieces Jade and Jailyn; nephews Jayka and Aiden and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends will deeply miss our dear Lucas.
Lucas will be missed by all, he was well liked and loved by all that met him. He truly loved the outdoors. His favourite past time was being with his son Kohen. The two of them would love to go fishing and hunting. Lucas felt a deep connection with nature. It was often stated by Lucas that he wanted to homestead in the bush, “Away from it all”. With his son Kohen in tow they would head for their favourite spot and sit for hours. Lucas would teach Kohen about nature. Upon returning home with a wide grin he would announce “I've got dinner for tonight”.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.
