Lucy worked hard at St Josephs Hospital in Comox for 27 years as a housekeeper. Once she retired at 66, she threw herself more into her love of music. She played the piano, mandolin since she was 10 yrs old, classic guitar which she took lessons for with the grade 12 class at George P. Vanier at 65 and her last love, the clarinet, which she played with the Valley Echos and the Courtenay Seniors Orchestra for many years. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Comox and belonged to the Pub Niters who performed at different seniors homes in the valley.
Her later years struggled with various health issues, but stayed strong. Small but mighty 'til 94!! Finally at Peace.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at New Horizons for their patience and care of our mother. Memorial at a later date.
