After a long and courageous journey with cancer, Lyne passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side. Not one to accept the timelines given to her by doctors, Lyne’s pure determination and will to survive gave her the time to spend with the many friends and family that surrounded her. Lyne spent many of her years in the Comox Valley working with and advocating for people with special needs then later with seniors in a variety of care settings. She loved to dance and was well known for the many parties she hosted. One of her great joys was cooking and baking, always looking for something new to serve. Two of her greatest loves were her two grandchildren, Ella and Owen and she was forever grateful to spend her last year’s getting to know them and being Grandma Lyne. Predeceased by her Father Jean Louise Bercier and brother Pierre. Survived by her children Kristine (Conor) and Jordan (Stephanie), Grandchildren Ella and Owen, ex-partner Lou Klupsas, Siblings Sylvie, Jean (Andreane), Martine and Marc (Chantal), Sister in Law Louise, Mother Armande Bercier and the many friends and family across Canada who will miss her dearly.

Special thanks to the many doctors, nurses, care aids, counsellors, volunteers and admin staff from Comox Valley Hospice Society and Hospice at The Views. You are amazing.

A celebration of life will be held at The K’omoks Band Hall, Sunday July 17th from 1-4pm. We welcome friends and family to join us as we celebrate and remember Lyne. In lieu of Cards and Flowers please make a donation to The Comox Valley Hospice Society.
