With great sadness, we announce the passing of Lynne Papineau on June 13, 2019. Predeceased by her husband Raymond John Papineau, son Kenneth Roy Papineau, and her mother Florence MacDonald. Lynne is survived by her sons Wesley Bryon, Richard Bruce, Darryl Martin, her daughter Linda Kroetsch (Dwight), grandchildren Adrien Kroetsch, Tammy Gilmore, Joshua Kroetsch, and great grandchildren Kelsey Kroetsch, Dakota Kroetsch and Deakon Gilmore.
Lynne was the family storyteller with a flare for imaginative details. She was an avid reader and loved the challenge of raising unusual plants, animals and fish.
Lynne was in the Military Reserves and belonged to the Comox Valley Feather Fanciers. Her hobbies included animal husbandry and Lynne gave generously of her time working with animals in various pet shops.
Donations to the SPCA or Kitty Cat Pals would be greatly appreciated. A small family gathering is to take place on a later date.
