Mabel Sylvia LeBoeuf

LeBoeuf - Mabel Sylvia of Courtenay, formerly of Kamloops, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2002 at Glacier View Lodge, age 82. Predeceased by her parents Marino and Emma Indseth and by her twin sister Myrtle Stevenson and her sisters: Agnes East, Margaret Mortenson, Evelyn Haga and brothers: Perry and Clare Indseth, and by her infant daughter JoAnne Evelyn; she will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters: Denise Neifer of Black Creek, and Donna Flaman of Savona, B.C.; and by her grandchildren: Lisa and Chuck Noel, Cheryl and Mikey Zanchetta, Jenny Neifer and Joel Neifer, Tricia Merry, Michelle Merry, and Josh Flaman; and by her great-grandchildren: Melissa and Steven Noel, Ashley, Taylor and Nore Zanchetta, Elizabeth, Ayla, Austin, Jazmine and Jacob Neifer. Also survived by her sister-in-law Marianne Indseth (Clare) and special friends Victor and Marion Bradford of Kamloops and by many nieces and nephews who she held very dear to her heart.


Born in Webb, Saskatchewan, went to school in Climax, Saskatchewan, Mabel spent many years in Kamloops where she worked and raised her two daughters before retiring to Vancouver Island in 1992. She loved to garden, bake and spend fun times with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will really miss their “Nanny”. Special heartfelt thanks to the staff at Glacier View Lodge.

No Funeral by request. Family Memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay.
