The family sadly announces the sudden passing of Margaret in Attin, BC, September 16, 2021. Born October 31, 1961 at CFS Parent, Quebec.
In her early life she travelled from coast to coast on different military bases.
Predeceased by husband Doug Newell (2019). Survived by parents Bernie and Eleanor Golding, two sisters Tina and Ruth and brother Bill.
Margaret resided the last 14 years in Attin (2 hours south of Whitehorse) where she became deeply involved in the Community and will be greatly missed by all who met and knew her.
There will be no service and upon cremation, her ashes will be taken by helicopter and spread on the local mountain along side Doug's.
We little knew that morning
God was to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke out hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
