April 4, 1936 - September 6, 2019
It is with great sadness the family of Margaret Mary Johnson announce her passing on September 6th, 2019 at the North Island Hospital in Courtenay. She is now reunited with her beloved Don.
Margaret is survived by her brother Leonard McKenzie and her sisters Irene Burkell, Faye McKenzie and Elsie Davis.
Her children Nancy and Ken Voeltz, Donald and Diana Johnson, Keith and Barb Johnson, Ron and Colleen Johnson, Gwen and Jim Clarke, Angus and Nicky Johnson, plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret survived her husband Don by almost 20 years and now they are together on their "Golden Wings" riding through the heavens still trying to determine who is the co-pilot and who's turn it is to polish the bike.
Grief,
Never ends, but it changes.
It is a passage, not a place to stay.
Grief is not a sign of weakness,
Nor a lack of faith...
It is the price of love
Margaret's family would like to say thank you to Dr. Gee and all the nursing staff who took such great care of mom in her final weeks. Special thanks to Rosie for coming to do her hair.
Celebration of Margaret's Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00 am, Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre followed by an interment of her urn at Courtenay Civic Cemetery.
