SERVICE, Margaret Rose
December 28th, 1939 – February 27th, 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years William “Bill”; sister Doreene; daughters Kim, Karey (Jim) and Tammy (Tom); sons Willliam “Bill” Jr and Christopher (Sharon); grandchildren Christopher, Cody (Sheena), Chad, Ashley, Emma, Matthew and Jonathan; and great grandson Lucas.
Margaret was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba where she spent her youth. She married in 1957 in Edmonton where she raised her family before retiring to the Comox Valley in 1992. Her love of gardening kept her active in the outdoors. Margaret also loved knitting and she generously contributed a full supply of “FUZZY” baby booties to the St. Joseph’s hospital gift shop.
There will be a small private family gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Comox Valley SPCA would be greatly appreciated.
