Margaret has gone to be with
her Lord; she passed away peacefully in her 97th year in Glacier View Lodge where she had lived since 2001. A longtime resident of the Comox Valley, Margaret and Herb moved here in 1948. Predeceased by Herb in 1971 she moved to Courtenay in 1973. She is survived by Bertha Smith, Agassiz, BC and Dolores Vander Maaten, Courtenay; 9 grandchildren: Debbie, Sherry (Jim), Ted (Laurel), Darcy (Bev), Robyn (Jim), Dawn (Royce), John (Donna), Betty-Rae (Ralph), Glen (Corinna); 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
The family wish to thank the nurses and staff at Glacier View Lodge and Dr. Riggler and Dr. Blacklock for their loving care and respect for our Mother.
The Funeral Service will be Monday November 28th, 11.00am Mennonite Brethren Church, 7898 Island Highway, Black Creek.
