“Biddy” of Courtenay passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, November 20, 2002; aged 81.
Biddy was predeceased by her first husband; Claude Kenneth Nurse (killed in action April 19, 1942, Lybia, North Africa) and by her second husband Norman Taylor Cocker (died July 7, 1970 at St Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, BC).
Biddy is survived by her brother, William Cruickshank Ramsay of Birmingham, England, her sister Roberta Helen Ramsay of Perth, Scotland, her son William Frederick Cocker (born Nurse), her daughter Margaretta Anne Larsen, nee Cocker, her grandson Arthur John Larsen and her granddaughter Leanne Larsen.
Private family cremation arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 Ryan Road.
