July 24, 1928 - March 2, 2019
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marie Greff on 02 March 2019 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband George, mother Marjorie Eadie, father Arthur Saunders Eadie and sister Nancy Proud.  She is survived by her loving family - daughter Sandra Clifford of Nanaimo, son Donald Greff of Burnaby, son Steven Greff of North Vancouver and many nieces and nephews residing across the country.

Marie was born in Illinois and raised in London, Ontario.  Marie, husband and children lived in England, France, Germany and many provinces and cities across Canada.  She settled in the Comox Valley in 1984.

Marie's greatest joy was her family.   She led a full life with various interests.  For many years she belonged to the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.  She loved reading, sewing, quilting, knitting and genealogy research. She created beautiful quilts that will last for many years.  She enjoyed bowling and swimming.  She loved the ocean and mountains.  Marie was an avid traveller and enjoyed the challenge researching her next holiday and adventure.  She travelled much of North America and many countries in Europe and Asia. Too numerous to mention.  We are blessed to have had her love, care and wisdom.

Special thanks to the staff of Casa Loma and Comox Valley Seniors Village for making Marie a home.  A thankyou to Dr. Musgrave, Dr. Gee and Dr. Hunter for many years of care.

A private interment will take place at St. Andrews Anglican cemetery at a later date.

If one wishes, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Alzheimer Society of Canada or one of your choice.
