Waddington, Marion Jean
It is with broken hearts that we announce that Marion Jean Waddington (nee: Rae), daughter of George Rae and Jean Barr, passed away May 28, 2006 in Courtenay, British Columbia at age 73.
Loving sister to Barb, mother to Julia, Craig and Keith, grandmother to Sophia and Sandor.
Marion was born in Toronto, Ontario on October 4, 1932. She lived in Barrie, Ontario for most of her life, moving to British Columbia 9 years ago. Marion was immensely proud of her Scottish heritage and worked tirelessly throughout her life to provide for and support her family. She will be forever missed.
The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks to Dr. Potter-Cogan and particularly the nurses and home support workers who provided knowledgeable and tender care throughout Marion’s illness.
A RECEPTION WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, JUNE 3 AT MARION’S HOME FROM 1-3 P.M. ALL WHO KNEW HER ARE WELCOME.
