Kiiskila, Marjorie (Midge)

1937 ~ 2003
Midge died peacefully with her loved ones by her side on December 15th. She struggled with cancer for less than one year. Midge was born in Richmond, B.C. and spent a portion of her childhood in Lulu Island and the rest of her formative years in North Vancouver. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Pentti Kiiskila and her children Risa and Leanne Kiiskila, Yvonne, Conrad, Roy and Jeff, her grandchildren: Maranda, Mathew, Bessy, Chelsy, Don, David, Lily, Lewis, Luke and one grandchild not yet born. Midge had many friends and extended family who loved her. She spent the last sixteen years of her life in Sointula where she had previously lived and always longed to return to. Midge loved the beauty of Sointula and the people who lived there. Midge was a gift to us. Let us honor her with a celebration of life to be held Sunday, December 21st, 2003 at 2:00 pm at the Sointula F.O. Hall. In lieu of flowers donations in Midge’s memory can be made to the Sointula Cemetery.
