Marna passed away peacefully at Victoria General after a long, courageous battle against illness. She was predeceased by her sister Carol and father Howard and survived by her loving children Lyndsay and Ryan, husband George, beloved mother Mary, brothers: Keith and Michael and sister Heather.
Marna loved raising her children, spending countless hours watching dance class, baseball and soccer, often with her faithful companion Burt. Marna lived her life with passion and dignity. Marna was a strong woman who led by example and loved to laugh and live life to the fullest. She enjoyed skiing, dancing, playing badminton, listening to music and gardening. She will miss all her good friends at Nigel House, where she especially appreciated the wonderful care the staff gave her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 12, at 1244 Wally Road in Comox from 2:00 pm until 6:00. In lieu of flowers, please send a contribution to the MS Society.
