April 23, 1945 - July 29, 2008
It is with great sadness that we announce that Mary passed away July 29th, 2008. She passed away peacefully in Comox, B.C. after a short and courageous struggle with ALS. Mary was born in Regina on April 23rd, 1945. Mary is survived and will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 43 years, Austin J. Dunbar, sons Peter and Paul Dunbar (niece Paula Dunbar), her parents Mr. & Mrs. Paul Switzer, sisters Les Rozenhart (Robert) and Paula Switzer. The family would like to thank Dr. Woldnik, Dr. Blacklock, The Hospice Society, Home Support Services, The ALS Society and all the wonderful 3rd floor staff who cared for Mary and looked after our every need. There will be no open service as requested by Mary. The family asks that whoever wishes to make a remembrance make a donation to the ALS Society.
