Mary-Ellen Girling passed away surrounded by family on July 14th of this year at age 64 in Courtenay BC, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Mary-Ellen was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her four children, Windy Cormier (Aaron), Adam Cormier (Dana), Paul Cormier (Stephanie), and Matthew Girling (Thuy), three grandchildren, Chase, James, and Ellie, her partner of 20+ years Dana Gibson, as well as multiple siblings.
