March 15, 1934 - August 12, 2019
On August 12, 2019, Heaven gained another Angel
Mary Teresa McLennan, born March 15, 1934 in London, England passed after a brief battle with cancer and is now reunited with her beloved husband Alex. Mary lived her life with empathy, dignity, grace and an awesome sense of humour. Anyone who met Mary could see her love for children, family, and faith were the cornerstones of her life.
A fitting tribute written by Lorie A. Calkins entitled
"To A Very Special Mother"
"In appreciation for the many things that you made you a wonderful mother, for sharing the ups and downs of life, you are the sunshine of our glad days and the rainbow of our sad days.
For always being there to listen, while trying hard to understand and somehow knowing how to help, you are the rose of our lives.
For giving your time and your interest so unselfishly, you are our best friend. You are the best part of the hard times and the brightest part of the good times. We offer you this expression of our love and appreciation. You are God's special gift to us."
As sad as we are to see you complete this part of your journey, we are thrilled you are with Dad again. All our love from your children, Pat (Ian), Robert, Terry (John and family), Lisa (Liamand Brendan), and grandsons Diego and Miguel, as well as many family and friends from all over the world.
Thank you to the palliative care team of Home Care and the nurses of third floor for your kindness and compassion, your care of mom was much appreciated.
