LeFrançois - (Moe) Maurice Pierre, aged 55 of Comox, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 7th, 2004. Predeceased by his father, Maurice Robert Sr., he is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife Denise; his mother Jeanne D’Arc of Grand-mère, Quebec; daughters Tina LeFrançois of Jonquiere, Quebec, Mandy Sloan, Victoria, and Amy Sloan, Courtenay; grandson Branden Sloan; sisters Lise Auger (Michel) of Cap de la Madeleine, Quebec and Nicole LeFrançois (Pierre Trahan) of Grand-Mère, Quebec, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Maurice was a proud Veteran and Legionnaire. He touched many lives and will be sadly missed both by his family and all who knew him. Flowers gratefully declined in consideration of donations in Maurice’s memory to the charity of one’s choice. His Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 14th at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 Ryan Road. Viewing and visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
