MCCLELLAN, Maxwell "Max" William
May 6, 1918 - April 10, 2010
Max McClellan died quietly at his home after a short and severe battle with leukemia. His family and friends were by his side throughout and will miss him dearly.
A thirteen year resident of Comox and a retired RCAF officer, Max has been a well known figure on the mountain ski trails, hiking trails and beaches in the Comox area.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital and the wonderful home care workers and RN's with both VIHA and Omnicare, People at Home for their great help, care and compassion. A special thank you to Dr. John Fitzpatrick.
A memorial gathering will be held for Max on Saturday, April 24, 2pm at Piercy's Funeral Home. 440 England Avenue, Courtenay.
