Bauer, Mervin Eugene
Mervin Eugene Bauer, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox on Tuesday, January 29th, 2002, at age 72. He was born in Lacombe, Alberta on October 7th, 1929. Mervin is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, of 48 years; sons: Stuart (Margaret) Bauer of Calgary, Alberta and Barry Bauer of Courtenay; daughter Brenda (Lee) Muirhead of Sooke, B.C.; grandchildren: Colleen and Mindy; brothers: Malcolm (Shirley) Bauer of Lacombe, Alberta, Jim (Bev) Bauer of Quesnel, B.C.; and sister Irene Golinowski (Wally) of Lanzville, B.C. Merv was an excellent carpenter, and enjoyed his work very much, he loved fishing, and those very special camping trips. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. Private Family arrangements. Donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice, or to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox.
