Aged 68 of Courtenay, passed away suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, December 16, 2002 following a short illness. Mike is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ardell; daughter Belinda; sons: Mark and Frank; stepson Chris; his grandchildren; brothers: Nels and Erik; sister Elsebett and his nieces and nephews. He was an avid sailor and spent whatever leisure time he could on the water. Private Cremation arrangements entrusted to Comox Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1101 Ryan Road.
