In loving memory ~
As a child and throughout his life, Mike spent many hours reading books on science and developed an understanding and vocabulary that few could match.
As a profession Mike was a surveyor and draughtsmen for the BC Dept. of Highways, but he was so much more.
He was an adventurer, mountaineer, caver, photographer, paleontologist, geologist, conversationalist, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend.
He and his daughter discovered the Puntledge River Elasmosaur in 1988.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 1st at 1:30 pm in the Courtenay and District Museum
and Palaeontology Centre.
