HANSEN, Mildred-Anne Mary (Linder)
June 14, 1942 ~ August 18, 2010
It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Mildred-Anne Mary Hansen (Anne). Anne is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 27 years, Jack Grinyer, brother Don Linder (Marylene), nephews Carl and Christopher, and Daisy her wonder dog. She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Astrid Linder (Winnipeg) and her aunt Mildred Johnson (Winnipeg).
We wish to thank Dr. Matthew Robertson, Dr. Elaine Wai and Dr. Tanya Austin for their kind, considerate care of Anne. A special thank you to the palliative nursing staff on the third floor at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital Cancer Foundation (Palliative Care) Comox, B.C. There will be a celebration of Anne’s life at our home 1292-B Martin Place, Courtenay, B.C. on Sunday, August 29th at 2 p.m.
