CRAIGDALLIE, MURIEL(Brown) 1918 - 2007
On Tuesday, March 19th 2007 Muriel Craigdallie passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years at Dufferin Place in Nanaimo B.C. Predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1989 and her brother Douglas in 1985. Muriel will be sadly missed and lovingly
remembered by her family; son James
(Leslie) of Nanaimo, B.C daughter Nancy (Cal) of Cold Lake, AB; her
grandchildren Michael, Stephen, Heather,
Patricia and Krystal, and her dear sister in law Mary Gidden of Victoria B.C with whom she spent much time and many pleasurable holidays cruises.
Muriel was born and raised in Victoria B.C and a resident of Comox from 1965 until 2001. She was a very active member in the Comox Golf Club and various bridge clubs. Prior to that she had been a resident of Balfour, B.C from 1949 to 1965 where she was very involved in her community.
Muriel was a great friend to many
people and always a fun and
interested Nana with her grandchildren. One of her favorite pastimes was spent
baking various treats and sharing them with family and friends. Her
family would like to thank the staff of Dufferin Place for all the compassion, care and kindness shown to Mom. Cremation has taken place. At
Mother's request, no formal service will be held.
Interment will follow at a later date.
