1916 – 2009
Myrtle Adamson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 5th, 2009 in Cumberland, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband Tommy Adamson, her sister Adele and brother Skip. Myrtle is survived and will be sadly missed by her daughters: Sharon (Syd) Lee, Penny (Vince) Sexton, Susan (Gordon) Carmichael, Gail (Ken) Gossen, Terry (Ken) Bell and Denise (Marvin) Brown; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; as well as her brother Brian (Sonja) McMillan and sister-in-law Avril McMillan. Myrtle was an active member of the Pythian Sisters and of her church and community. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, crafts and music. Myrtle was easy going, very caring and loved her family. If friends so desire, donations in Myrtle’s memory may be made to the Cumberland Lodge. The family would like very much to thank the staff of Cumberland Lodge for their compassionate care of Myrtle.
