1924 - 2005


Neil was born in Unity, Sask. to Rena and Dan McCuish and is survived by daughters

Kari McCuish and Janice Bergman, son-in-law Ron and much loved granddaughters Lauren and Erin. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years Thelma, brothers Earl and Leon, sister Flora. Survived by brothers Merlyn, Don, and Glen and many nieces and nephews.

Neil served in the RCAF, then worked in Corrections B.C. in New Westminster, Maple Ridge and Clearwater for over 25 years. Neil and Thelma resided at Minstrel Island, Pitt Meadows, Clearwater, Abbotsford and Courtenay. He was a Past Master in the Prince David Masonic Lodge and a member of the Shriners and the Legion.

Dad spent many happy times playing crib and hunting and fishing with his brothers and many friends. Some of the stories were even true.

A Memorial Tea will be held Sunday, November 20th at 1 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion No. 17, 367 Cliffe Ave., Courtenay.
