Nikolas Rodney William Richard Pearson, 40 years young, passed away on January, 3rd, 2022, at Gray Nuns Community Hospital.
Born on October, 6, 1981 in Comox, BC, he graduated from Southgate Secondary, Campbell River, BC, in June 1999. Nick was employed by Great Western Interiors, as Operations Manager in Beaumont, AB.
Nick dedicated his time, volunteering as a Scout Leader for the 1st Beaumont Scout Group. He was presented The Bar to the Medal of Good Services award in 2021 for his exceptional years of service. He loved to share his knowledge of the outdoors with Lukas. I
n his spare time (which was limited) Nick was happiest traipsing through the bush, camping, bow hunting or fishing. Captain Nick was known for his quick wit, sharp tongue, and the ability to bring a smile, or chuckle, to all those around him. He was known by many as Scouter Grumpy Bear, Baloo or TikTak.
He is survived by his son Lukas, girlfriend Kristine, parents, Rod and Susan, siblings and spouses Terry and Paula, Craig and Shannon, Lisa and Rick, and Jessica, nieces and nephews Rayanne, Zack, Kyan and Rielle, estranged-wife Chantal and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his younger brother Erik and grandparents Richard and Yolanda Pearson.
