Passed away on December 20, 2009 after a brief struggle with cancer. Nioma (Nan) was predeceased by her parents and by 3 brothers and one sister. Nan is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Nan is also survived by her husband Lorne and their 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Nan’s life will be held on Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation & Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay. In lieu of flowers and gifts, donation’s in Nan’s name made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #102 - 1509 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, B.C. V9N 2K6 would be appreciated.
