In loving memory ~
Air Woman of My Life
Gone too soon, never forgotten.
Pam passed away in Comox, BC on August 24th, 2022. She was born in Vernon, BC on October 18, 1946, spent her early years in Prince Rupert. At an early age they moved to North Vancouver, BC where she grew up.
Pam joined the R.C.A.F. as an Administration Clerk in March 1967. She met her future husband, Bruce, while they both were on course in Kingston, Ontario on May 27th 1971. How many times did Pam fly from Trenton to Lahr on "The Boeing" for a long weekend to see her future husband? They did eventually get married on October 3rd, 1979. After many postings across Canada and the USA they were transferred to Comox, in September 1981. During her posting to C.F.B. Comox she had two transfers out, one to Vancouver to a Recruiting Unit and then to Air Command in Winnipeg. Her final stop was again C.F.B. Comox where she retired in March, 1996, to a wonderful life in the Comox Valley.
Pam is predeceased by her parents Donald Charles and Thelma Anne Stewart (nee Chase), grandparents both Stewart and Chase, her sister Rosalinde Anne Stewart, and of course Tiger and Snowball.
Pam is survived by her loving husband Bruce and his family.
She (Pamela) was loved by all who met and knew her.
Many thanks to her doctor Adam Thompson, and the nurses, doctors and staff at the North Island Hospital, Comox Valley who were so kind to her during her final days.
Pam thought all of you were the best. No Service by request; donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Please join us in remembering Pamela by visiting her memorial at www.piercysmtwashingtonfuneral.com.
