Pamela Wickson

January 27, 1922 - March 30, 2019
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mum. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Linda (Bob), Susan (Don) and Laurie (John); grandchildren Shawn, Devon, Laureen, Katie, Heather, Elizabeth and Matt, their spouses and by her 12 great-grandchildren. She is pre- deceased by her husband John and cherished grandson Shane.

Pamela was born in London, England. At the start of the war she joined up and served throughout the war with the Women's Land Army. She was sent to work on the farm where she met her husband of 67 years. Marrying after the war they moved to a ranch in the Alberta foothills. In 1960 they moved to UBC Farm at Oyster River and later to the Comox Valley. For the past year she resided in The Gardens at Qualicum Beach. Everyone who knew her was drawn to her wonderful spirit. She was so caring, interested in others and had such a zest for life it made her truly special.

Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Pamela's memory to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 2:00 pm from Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay with a reception to follow.
