November 9, 1947 - November 1, 2018
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Patricia Ethelyne Burgher on November 1, 2018. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Robert Demers, her mother Nelly Emms, brother Robert Emms, and son Andre Demers.
Patricia is survived by her son Dean Burgher (Karan), daughters Deanna Burgher (Kris Freeland), Eileen Smith, son Ross Demers (Chusia Rupert), brothers Kenneth Emms (Cathie), Earl Emms (Hilary), as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pat was an avid gardener whose work was evident in her beautiful garden, in particular, her prize-winning rhododendrons. Earlier this year, she got to live her lifelong dream, a cruise to Alaska with her good friend Lorna!
A private celebration of Pat's life will take place this Friday at Comox Valley Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre, Courtenay BC.
Flowers gratefully declined. The family would like to suggest that donations be made in Pat's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
