Patrick Dixon

July 25, 1941 - January 16, 2019
Pat, a resident of Courtenay, passed away at North Island Hospital, Courtenay on January 16, 2019. 

He was born in England and came to Canada to work with Hudson's Bay Company in 1959. He landed in Frobisher Bay and then Fort George, Quebec, where he met and married Barbara, his wife of 56 years, and together they raised 3 children and have 2 grandsons. 

Pat's work adventures took him and his family to various remote locations around Canada. He always said, "If it's no longer fun, stop doing it," and on January 16th it was no longer fun. 

A celebration of his life will be held at Comox Valley Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, on Friday, January 25th at 2 pm, with a reception to follow in the "Garden Room" of the funeral home.
