June 17, 1962 - September 13, 2018
Paul Leonard Toner, 56, passed suddenly on the morning of September 13, 2018. Paul was born June 17, 1962 in Pembroke, Ontario, the youngest child to Daniel and Shirley Toner. His family then moved to Thompson, Manitoba where he lived his young adult life and started his own family. His love for mechanics and racing cars and bikes all began in Thompson, which led to a 45 year career in mechanics. As an accomplished racer Paul was well known in the circuit bringing car #17 first to the checkered line time and time again. Everyone Paul met he made laugh with his carefree and jolly spirit, sharing 5 cent candies and non-stop comedic stories (paulerisms).

Paul is survived by his three boys, Ryan (Darla), Klayton (Vanessa) and Brendon (Tamara), his grandchildren Londyn, Austin, Keeli, Declan, Ava, Seth, Devon and Madison, his parents Daniel and Shirley, his siblings Steve (Sandra), Cheryl (Ed), Chris (Cindy), and Brian (Bridgett), as well as countless friends and co-workers who will all miss him dearly.

Celebrate the life of Paul Leonard Toner on Saturday November 24th at 1pm at the Quinsam Hall at 761 Nursery Road, Campbell River. Join us to share stories and remember a life lived to the fullest.
