Paul Henri
August 6 1958-August 16 2009
It is with heavy hearts our family announces the passing of Paul. Predeceased by brothers David and Kerry. He leaves behind many who love him, wife Kathleen, daughter Alexis, sons Tyson and Joseph Parents Renè and Verda brother Gary (Joyce) sister Roxann (John) and numerous other relatives and friends.
Paul was born in Mission BC but was raised in Campbell River BC. After graduation he became a Logger working his way from a Choker man 1978 to a Faller in 1988. He worked up and down the coast of BC, making many friends along the way, and a name for himself amongst his peers.
No longer walking beside us holding are hands
Your soul has soared to the heavens where
the good guys go
and your vessel will rest in peace beside your brothers
You fought a great battle and all paths you crossed were uphill
always with humour and strength that amazed everyone.
Most people dream of winning the lottery
but our children already had-
they got you for their Dad.
And with all my heart I’m sure we’re closer
than we ever were
I don’t have to hear or see I’ve got all the proof I need
There are more than Angels watching over us
I believe
that when you die your life goes on
It doesn’t end here when you’re gone
Every soul is filled with light
It never ends and if I’m right
Our love can even reach across Eternity
Thank you to all the wonderful hospital staff at Vancouver General, St. Josephs and Campbell River. It is the family’s request that in lieu of flowers please give memorial contributions in Paul’s name to Comox Valley Hospice Society-2137 Comox Ave Comox BC V9M 1P2 and also consider giving the gift of life by donating blood.
