Passed away peacefully at his home in Cumberland Lodge. He is survived by his wife Ivica; three children: Slavko, John and Wendy (Steve) and grandson Jason; sister Marija Klapkova of Czechoslovakia; brother Al-bert of Croatia; and several nieces and nephews. Petar immigrated to Canada in 1956 from his homeland Croatia. He was a miner who worked in several mines across Canada, and spent his retirement years in the Port Hardy community. He leaves lasting memories of his humor, his love of music, and his story.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005 at 9:00 am. Arrangements are in care of PIERCY’S - MT. WASHINGTON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORIUM.
