Of Courtenay, died suddenly on Friday, January 10th, 2003. He is survived by his wife Gail Sklar of Courtenay; son Patrick of Courtenay; daughter Tracey (Scott) Blair; grandchildren Megan, Haley and Eliza; brothers: Ian (Liz) and David (Joanne), as well as his nieces and nephews, all of Ontario. Pete spent over 35 years with The Air Force and the 386 (Komox) Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Cadets and the Regional Gliding School. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and golfing buddies. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, January 18th at 2:00 pm from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, with Padre Art Crawley officiating, with fellowship and refreshments following in the “Garden Room” of the funeral home.
