BREMER, Phyllis Oliver

Passed away peacefully March 4th at the young age of 95.

She was born to the late Frank and Betsy Lee, June 15th, 1914 in Clear Lake, Saskatchewan. She is predeceased by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Victor Oscar Bremer. Phyllis is survived by her two sons, Barry (Maurette); Allan (Christa), and four grandchildren, Steven (Stephanie); Karyn (Greg); Nicole (Geoff); Brandon (Crystal). She is also survived by five great grandchildren, all of whom she adored and took great pride in.

Phyllis was a second mother to many. Her home was the center of the neighborhood activities, and the welcome mat was always out. She was a real care giver, and was always looking out for others. She was a fantastic cook, hostess, homemaker and everyone who knew her will remember her years at the Beach House.

Phyllis was a very loving Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma. She was known as being feisty, a straight shooter and always spoke her mind. She is also the neighborhood and family counselor and you could always tell her anything. She will be deeply missed.

Our family would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Casa Loma Seniors Village who cared for our Grandma every day, THANK YOU. You were there to give her hugs, care for her every need and be there with her when we could not. You were truly her second family, and we know she loved you very much. You have a thankless job, but you truly make a huge difference in these peoples lives, and that was the case with our Grandma.
