The year’s at the spring
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His Heaven –
All’s right with the world!
by Robert Browning
Pippa’s understanding, love and kindness was pure and shone brightest in her love for her children. The career Pippa chose at Family Services in Campbell River allowed her the opportunity to share her wisdom, compassion and unconditional respect of others in giving her support to her community’s young mothers. Her brilliant wit and passion for life was known to all who were blessed by her presence. Pippa’s battle with leukemia was tremendous and she had many victories. She stood with courage, strength and incredible grace.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nursing staff at VGH, BC Cancer Agency and the Palliative Response Team for their caring support. Thank you to Dr. Neil McKinney and Dr. Clayton Smith for standing beside our Pippa by recognizing and respecting her gift as a teacher.
